Fira is right on the edge of the Caldera, the world-famous volcanic cliff. There you will find various cafes, restaurants and nightclubs, most with breathtaking views of the sea and the volcano. But also museums, churches, supermarkets, boutiques, and the famous Gold Street, the most famous place for buying jewellery, may tempt you to shop and linger.
